Here are my handouts for lesson #4. I chose the scripture from D&C 8:2 which reads:
Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
For my treat I bought chocolate candy hearts to go along with with the scripture.
Here are my handouts for writing things off the board as instructed in the manual.

I just wanted to let you know that your hand outs have been huge help to me! I was just called to be a laurel advisor and I found your blog through google. I really appreciate you posting these on your blog.
I noticed on your sidebar that you went to Star Valley High School. Small world, but I have some cousins from there… Maurie Jenkins. I know that she’s married now. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you!

Haleigh,
Thanks for the sweet comments. I am glad they can help out. And speaking of a small world, Maurie is married to my cousin Brian! How funny is that?!
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Carolyn…..what did I do right to get you in YW with us?!?!? Can’t wait to hear your lesson Sunday. BTW….still not fair that you are not speaking with us!
Carolyn- What a small world? I haven’t seen Maurie in years, since I’m in AZ. If you ever visit with her, say hello to her from her AZ cousin :o) I really do love your blog and your photography too… mutual adoration… I love it :o)
SO glad I don’t have to speak, but I will be looking on proudly as you do Shalee 😉
Haleigh I will tell her when I see her!

You are welcome 🙂
Hi Carolyn, this is Emily Klein (Hamblin). I was good friends with Lisa, and found you through Autumn’s High School blog. I am also a Laurel Advisor, and teach 3 out of the 4 Sundays. I am one of those teachers who is preparing the morning of, during Sunday School, but since I found your great handouts, I have actually been doing some of them, and preparing more thoroughly. My girls are great, but they are so appreciative of the more work I put in. Thanks for motivating! I will keep looking at your stuff, you can bet on it. I love all the pictures though. The ones you did of Kelsie and Shalee’s family were awesome!
Thanks Emily! I am so glad the handouts can help others too. I know that our girls really love handouts and I think they are fun to make and share. Thanks for the sweet comments on the pictures too! It helps they are all beautiful people with beautiful children!
Carolyn,
Your handouts are so great! I am trying to print them out for my lesson on Sunday and the Scripture handout is not coming out right. I even just put new ink in. The yellow and red/white pattern in the middle are coming out a faded pink. The other handout came out just fine. Did anyone else have this problem?
thanks
Hi Sundaygirl,
No one else mentioned anything. Sorry they don’t seem to be working. I can e-mail them to you directly if that will help. If you want to send me an e-mail at carolinebeth20@hotmail.com I will send them over 🙂
Thanks!
