Today was a nice and quiet Sunday. We have church starting at 2:00 which really doesn’t leave much time for other things in the afternoon, since we have to drive 20 minutes to get to our building we don’t get home until almost 5:30, and RR goes to bed at 7:00.
We have our stockings hung up and ready for Santa. I love that we have an eclectic mix of stockings, and that they don’t match. One day when the boys are bigger and don’t want to use their little boy stockings any longer I will get us all fancy matching ones. But for now, I love how they are individual to each of us. Back in high school my Mom made me mine, we got RR his last year from Pottery Barn, and Johnny of course has a University of Wyoming stocking, something to remember his Law School days by.
This morning was fun with RR because the very first thing out of his mouth was, “Elfy”. He couldn’t wait to see where he was hiding today, and he was so excited to see that Elfy had climbed into the Cheerios bin.
Tonight we made Sticky Chex Mix, one of my favorite things ever. This recipe comes from my good friend Shalee.
