I was so excited when my friend from high school ask me to take her sweet little 3 month old baby girls pictures. She is Little Miss T’s cousin, and she was in town for a visit. She is so gorgeous. She has these AMAZING blue eyes, they are so clear, and just stunning. Not to mention the prettiest head of dark hair. She could be a baby hair model her hair is so thick and pretty. I had a great time, and she was so good for me the entire time. Oh and with her cute clasped hands, we didn’t make her do that, her mom says that she loves to sit with her hands clasp all the time. It worked out perfect. Here are a few of my favorites.
Cousins. They are only 3 months apart.
I loved this cute sisters picture.
She is the cutest, littlest thing! She was SO good during pictures and all the things we made her do. Thanks to Chase and Shalee for letting me come and take pictures!
Here is a sneak peek at the adorable Miss T.
On my last weeks Monday Night Confessions I mentioned that I had another senior portrait session, but this time with a boy. I was pretty worried about it because I think that girls are easier to pose than boys, but I was wrong. I only shot for about an hour, and was done editing them within about 2 hours. It was by far one of my easiest and fastest shoots yet. Plus he was a really nice easy going kid, which helps a lot. Here are a few.
Here are a few of Todd and Sandy’s wedding. The slideshow at the end isn’t the best quality, but at least you will get the idea!
Hello, my name is Carolyn and I am an addict. I can’t live without Photoshop. I love it, and I love playing around with it and seeing what I can do. I am in no way an expert, but I love to play. Some people and their skills are amazing, and one day I would love to take classes so that I can get better. Before I even take a picture, I can already see in my mind what it is going to look like when I am done editing it. I LOVE editing pictures as much or more than even taking pictures. I could sit here for hours and work on pictures. So if you ever want me to edit a picture for you just let me know 😉 I wanted to share this one because I am pretty proud of how it turned out. This is my niece Rae Rae, when she was in Wyoming she rolled down a hill, poor thing! Well she is so pretty and I was planning on taking her pictures even before her tumble, so we still took some on Sunday when she was all dressed up. I was pretty certain I could make her look ok, but you never really know until you start working on it. I am really happy with the results. Before:
I should be all done with the wedding pictures this weekend! I can’t wait to show you some. Here is one of my favorites.
Another of my goals was to get a picture that I took published, and that happened this year. I entered this picture of Johnny and Peanut in a contest here and I won a 3rd place prize. I got $30 and was pretty happy with that. When I entered I had to sign over the publishing rights on the picture, and I of course didn’t think anything about it. And then one day I go into work and someone has cut out an ad from the state paper and it has my picture with my name on it!!! Hurray. They have used this picture in all of their summer print ads trying to get tourists to stop in our town. Sorry for the bad scan.
I need to talk about #53 on my list. Go to my 10 year high school reunion. I have a huge secret, I think I was impaired in some way when I put this on my list, because I do not want to go. I am a total freak, who would really rather die than be forced to go and visit with people I haven’t seen for 10 years. I don’t know why, but the older I have gotten, the more crazy scared I am of situations like this. Plus it is bizarre to think that I have been out of high school for 10 years. The time has gone by so fast. When I graduated from high school I was ready to leave the valley and never return, and now I wouldn’t mind living there if the circumstances were right. And 10 years ago today I was living in Salt Lake and getting ready to start my first year of college. I was living it up in the Brigham Apartments and meeting new people and going on wild blind dates, one which involved my “date” having a really bad case of road rage and literally trying to run over other people in the middle of a very busy street on a Friday night. So much has happened in 10 years too. I have been married for 6.5 of those years, John and I have both graduated college, we bought a bowling alley for pete’s sake, and then headed off to law school. So anyway, I am a freak who is a social misfit when it comes to any type of party or crowd. I am better at just one on one stuff. So the reunion is this weekend, and I will be in town, do I go or not?
Here is my senior picture. Hot I know.
Well the first month of my 750-mile challenge is over and my grand total for the month is….135.13 miles. I am pretty freaking proud of myself. I have not forgot to wear my pedometer even once! My boss and I go for a walk everyday at work, and then Johnny and I either play tennis or go for another long walk when I get home at night. I would like to say I have seen some benefit from walking 135 miles, but I haven’t. I haven’t lost one pound, but I am hoping that I will in the end. Only 614.86 miles to go. HAHA that’s a lot of miles still.
On another note, I thought my eyes were going to fall out last night after editing pictures for over 7 hours yesterday. I took about 400ish pictures of my friends daughter for her senior pictures. I have a few on my flickr account if you want to check them out.
