Instagram {LOVE}

I am just burning cash with all these great iPhone and iPad apps I have been getting, but the one I love the most right now was totally free and I can’t get enough of it.  It is called Instagram and it is like a mini photo editing tool for your pictures.  It is amazing and so much fun to play around with.  I have been using it non-stop since I got it this last weekend.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

Pictures for Shanna

Here are some of the pictures that I took for my cousin Shanna.  She has adorable babies and I enjoyed getting to spend time with them and get to know them better, and of course I loved taking pictures of them.  I did some different edits on the same shots and I would love to hear which ones you like better.  Pictures are funny things because everyone likes theirs just a little different.  Some people don’t like a Photoshopped look at all, and others like the way it can enhance a picture.  I am addicted to Photoshop, but I also like a happy medium, I like a clean and crisp looking picture, but I also love a vintage or soft picture too.  So take a look and see what you think.

Here a few snapshots from the night I stayed over.

Shanna got M all dressed up the next day for pictures in the cutest hat ever and a tutu.  I love the Christmas lights blurred in the background.

Same picture edited different.  I love the vintage feel of the second one.

Again same picture with yet another edit.  Still a vintage feel, but a different one than before.  Do you like the first vintage one, or this one better?  I can’t decide.

I did this next one a little softer with a slight color pop on the flower and her eyes.  What do you think?

Again just a slightly different edit.  Can you tell the difference?

I am starting to sound like a broken record, but here we go again.

Here is M’s brother, I call him Punky.

Punk was a good sport but didn’t last long.  It was Christmas Eve after all and he REALLY wanted to go to his Grandma’s house where the party was to be held that night.  He didn’t understand the party didn’t start for another 8 hours 🙂

In case you haven’t noticed, I am a sucker for pictures where the person is looking down.  I just love them!

And Punky was done with me.  I don’t blame him, I am so not fun compared to impending Christmas parties.

I adore this next photo.  This is Matt holding M while she is drinking her bottle.

Pictures of Sweet Baby T.

I was so excited when my friend from high school ask me to take her sweet little 3 month old baby girls pictures.  She is Little Miss T’s cousin, and she was in town for a visit.  She is so gorgeous.  She has these AMAZING blue eyes, they are so clear, and just stunning.  Not to mention the prettiest head of dark hair.  She could be a baby hair model her hair is so thick and pretty.  I had a great time, and she was so good for me the entire time.  Oh and with her cute clasped hands, we didn’t make her do that, her mom says that she loves to sit with her hands clasp all the time.  It worked out perfect.  Here are a few of my favorites.

More Senior Pictures

On my last weeks Monday Night Confessions I mentioned that I had another senior portrait session, but this time with a boy. I was pretty worried about it because I think that girls are easier to pose than boys, but I was wrong. I only shot for about an hour, and was done editing them within about 2 hours. It was by far one of my easiest and fastest shoots yet. Plus he was a really nice easy going kid, which helps a lot. Here are a few.
